GroundBreaker of the Year

In addition to being recognized at the Virtual GroundBreakers Conference, Petran also received a $5,000 award from Compeer and will be featured in an upcoming issue of Cultivate magazine.

We have posted a link to the video on Compeer's social media channels – we encourage you to share these posts to help celebrate our GroundBreaker of the Year and create awareness for this program.

Overall, we had 48 high-quality nominations for this recognition. The nomination period for our next award will open in early April.

Nominees must meet at least one of the following criteria:

• Be under the age of 35,
• Have 10 years or less of farming or ranching experience, OR
• Generate less than $250,000 in annual gross sales.

When the nomination tool is live, more information will be posted on Compeer Connect, on our website and on our social media channels.
