Durkin R. Young, MAI, ARA, ASA

Overview & Bio Information

Durkin has been with the Farm Credit System since 2016 as a senior appraiser. Before joining the Farm Credit system, he was an independent fee appraiser. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Ag Finance from the University of Illinois. He is an active Certified General Appraiser in Illinois since 2012 and Iowa since 2016. Durkin has also received designations from the Appraisal Institute (MAI), American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ARA), and American Society of Appraisers (ASA). He is also a member of the National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries (NCREIF) and a member of the Realtors Land Institute (RLI). As part of the Compeer Appraisal team, Durkin serves the West Central Illinois area.
