Steve Eckerman

Overview & Bio Information

Steve Eckerman is a Senior Credit Officer at Compeer Financial, serving on the Institutional Credit and Sponsor Finance team. In his role, he is responsible for underwriting Capital Markets Sponsor Finance transactions and large farm real estate loans from Partner Institutions. Steve joined Compeer in 2012, and has previously worked in the Ag Lending Credit and Dairy Consulting Departments. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from UW-Madison and a Master of Science from North Dakota State University.

Steve resides in Northwest Wisconsin with his wife and three children, where he enjoys focusing on family life. In his spare time, he actively participates in his children's many activities and enjoys skiing, golfing, and biking.
