Chris grew up on a family owned & operated dairy & crop farm in Fillmore County, MN. He attended the University of Minnesota Waseca and then transferred and graduated from the University of Wisconsin River Falls with a BS degree in Agricultural Business and a minor in Agricultural Engineering. Upon graduation Chris worked for State Farm Insurance Companies & on his family’s farm before joining Legacy AgStar in January 2004.
Chris’s first role with AgStar was as a Real Property Appraiser primarily appraising rural residents & hobby farms. Chris enjoyed his time in the country meeting and seeing these properties first hand and made the decision to move into a sales role to directly help these same clients buy land, build/purchase homes, & ultimately secure financing to enable clients to live out their dreams & aspirations of living and enjoying the rural lifestyle.
